What Makes Results Physiotherapy Different?

At Results Physiotherapy, we believe that people should not have to live with pain. We are committed to clinical excellence through professional development and industry-leading continuing education, supported by a culture of friendship. Our physical therapists are experts in their field, and we pride ourselves on our long-lasting relationships with our patients.

When a patient visits with our physical therapists virtually, in-home, or in one of our clinics, we conduct an extensive evaluation on body mobility and functionality. From here, we are able to better understand our patient as a whole and provide them with a comprehensive personalized treatment plan that best suits their needs.

One of the many things that separate Results Physiotherapy and makes us different is that we’re always focused on providing exemplary care to our patients with a focus on their unique goals and needs.

Our Commitment to Excellence

Results Physiotherapy has a unique post-doctoral education program which has proven to create superior patient outcomes. These outcomes have allowed us to be in the top 2% of the nation in orthopedic physical therapy care. Our clinicians are specifically trained in direct patient care to identify musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal dysfunctions in order to treat and refer to appropriate providers as needed.

All new clinicians that start with Results PT, whether new or experienced, will go through our one-year tutorial program to dive deeper into orthopedic care. These tutorials allow for the mastery of skills including differential diagnoses, treatment regimens, and techniques. Our clinicians will receive 1:1 mentoring to further enhance their skills and elevate their clinical decision-making by expert clinical educators. Additionally, our clinicians go through a 3-year post-doctoral certification program.

At the completion of this program, they will be eligible to sit for their Manual Therapy Certification, which is required for all Results Physiotherapy Clinicians. Upon achievement of this certification, our clinicians will further hone their craft by completing additional coursework and training to become a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist, Pelvic Health Specialist, Vestibular Specialist, etc. Further clinical education continues via Master Classes and Specialty Classes with world-renowned guest clinicians.

The program as a whole is how we continue to stay at the forefront of research and evidence-based treatment to ensure high-quality care and high-level outcomes.

We’re committed to excellence every step along the way, and we’re constantly seeking qualified professionals who are passionate about helping patients just as much as we are. A Relationship-Centered Approach at Results Physiotherapy

We believe we are able to achieve the best results when developing relationships with our patients so we can support each patient step-by-step in their road to recovery. At each of your appointments, you will meet one-on-one with your physical therapist. This one-on-one care fosters a positive relationship-based environment where there is privacy to discuss concerns and ask any questions you might have.

In order to create a personalized treatment plan for each patient, we find the most success when we are able to have a deeper understanding of the full person. From here, we are able to develop a treatment and exercise plan that will be the most beneficial to the patient’s recovery, taking into account all current and past injuries. In addition, it is crucial to educate our patients about their injury and how to prevent a similar injury in the future based on your body’s mobility capabilities.

This relationship-centered approach at Results Physiotherapy means that we’re committed to not only help you get better, faster, but also to inform and educate you so you can reduce the likelihood of future injuries and understand why certain exercises and stretches need to be performed.

Our Patient Specific Care Model

Our team understands that life is complicated, so we do our best to accommodate our patients in every way we can. We offer concierge physical therapy, virtual therapy via telehealth, and flexible appointment times for our in-clinic appointments. Our goal is to make receiving our care easy, affordable, and enjoyable!

If a patient chooses to receive concierge at-home physical therapy, one of our physical therapists will make an appointment with you and meet you in your home. You will receive one-on-one care in the comfort of your own home and on your time. Another option if our patient would prefer to receive treatment at home is virtual therapy via telehealth. You may receive this personalized treatment from anywhere you choose on any mobile device. You will continue to meet with your therapist one-on-one, and our therapists will provide demonstrations as well as test mobility via telehealth.

With the advent of all the new technology, plenty of folks can now choose a variety of different options when trying to get their physical therapy care. With Results Physiotherapy, we’re doing our part to make sure that you can get the physical therapy care and attention you need wherever you want it to be: virtually, in-person, or at-home.

Lastly, we have over 200 convenient locations to best serve our clients, and we’re constantly growing each week. When booking an appointment, you will meet with or call one of our friendly staff members who will work around your schedule to set up a meeting. We look forward to starting your road to recovery together!

Trigger Point Dry Needling at Results Physiotherapy

We specialize in a ground-breaking physical therapy service called trigger point dry needling. We use dry needling as a part of a treatment plan when our patient is experiencing muscle pain or disruptive trigger points. During the dry needling process, your physical therapist will insert a thin needle into the muscle, which will stimulate the trigger point and diffuse the pressure on the tissue, joint or nerve. This process will force the muscle to spasm and then return back to its natural, relaxed state.

“Dry Needling is one of the most effective tools we have in helping reduce muscle pain. We’ve seen patients demonstrate remarkable improvement when they add this tool to their treatment program.” – Craig O’Neil, Chief Clinical Officer, Results Physiotherapy

Our Focus on Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a hands-on physical therapy method that has been proven to help patients recover from injuries, both acute and chronic conditions, without using painkillers or surgery. Manual therapy can reduce costs by taking away the need for surgery and reducing the risk of becoming addicted to painkillers. We use manual therapy in 95% of our patients’ recovery treatment plans!

Manual therapy treatments may include joint mobilization/manipulation, trigger point therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and more to relieve pain and aid in the recovery process. By applying hands-on pressure to areas with limited mobility or pain, manual therapy is able to reduce inflammation and swelling in soft tissue.

Your therapist will also suggest specific strength and endurance exercises to improve your joint mobility. Manual therapy is typically used in addition to education and exercise as part of a comprehensive plan when treating acute or chronic conditions that gets our patients feeling better, faster!

During the entire treatment process, you’ll work with your physical therapist every step along the way to make sure that you’re comfortable and understand the treatment plan.
