Treatments at Our Village District Clinic

At Results Physiotherapy, we strive to make it easy to receive the skilled level of physical therapy that produces the results you deserve. Our staff is dedicated to helping you recover better, faster through many methods of treatment. Our therapists are capable of treating more than 100 conditions, ranging from headaches to neck, shoulder, hip, knee, or lower back pain caused by a sports injury, plantar fasciitis, or BPPV/Vertigo. We also help patients recover from various types of orthopedic surgery, including total hip or knee replacements or repairs for an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) injury.

  • Manual Therapy: This treatment may include joint mobilization/manipulation, trigger point therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and more to relieve pain and aid in the recovery process. In addition to these techniques, your therapist will also suggest specific strength and endurance exercises to improve your joint mobility.
  • Dry Needling: This treatment is growing in popularity and involves stimulating the affected muscle with a small needle. Through this method, your muscles release pent-up tension and begin to relax. Most patients report feeling immense pain relief after the treatment.
  • Running Injury Treatment: At Results Physiotherapy, we’re proud to offer effective treatment options for those who have incurred running-related injuries. Our physical can help with plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, shin splints, hamstring, ankle and hip discomfort.
  • Pelvic Health: We offer pelvic health treatments to both men and women who suffer from a wide range of pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, sexual dysfunction and pregnancy related conditions in women. Our therapists incorporate a comprehensive and individualized approach to both examination and treatment.
  • Telehealth PT Appointment: We also provide the ability for you to complete your PT appointments at home. Schedule a telehealth physical therapy appointment.

Trigger Point Dry Needling Therapy

Do you suffer from chronic muscle knots and spasms? You shouldn’t have to live with pain. Results Physiotherapy offers Trigger Point Dry Needling to help reduce muscle pain and activate the body’s natural healing process. During Trigger Point Dry Needling, we stimulate your body’s underlying myofascial trigger points using thin, sterile needles. They’re referred to as dry needles because no liquid or medication is injected into the muscle. When combined with other hands-on therapy treatments at our clinic, Trigger Point Dry Needling has provided noticeable improvements for many of our patients, although individual results may vary.
