Treatments

Treatment

Pain is not something that you should have to live with daily. Our approach to physical therapy will help you to get back on your feet, and living life normally, as soon as possible. Some of the treatment areas we offer include dry needling therapy, pelvic health, running injuries, and workers comp.

Types of Treatment Offered

Dry Needling Therapy

Dry needling uses filament needles to stimulate the myofascial trigger points on muscles that are causing pain or discomfort. It is called dry needling because no medication is injected into the patient. The filament needles are inserted into the muscle trigger point, which causes a twitch or rapid depolarization of the fibers, dramatically reducing muscle activity. This lets the muscle relax, also decreasing the pain. Dry needling is not performed on its own, but as part of an overall health plan.
